Question 1

When do I get the commission I earn on a sale?

Accepted Answer

Your share lands in your photographer dashboard the moment the order clears production, and the running balance pays out monthly through Stripe Connect. There’s no minimum threshold — even a single sale pays out on the next cycle.

Question 2

How quickly do I get listed in the catalog after signing up?

Accepted Answer

Our curators review every new photographer within 48 hours. Once approved, your account is live, your tier is set to Starter, and you can publish listings immediately.

Question 3

What gets reviewed by the curation team?

Accepted Answer

A link to your existing portfolio (or a few samples you upload at signup) — enough for our curators to confirm you’re a working photographer whose work fits the catalog. The review is about fit, not gatekeeping by genre.

Question 4

How do I move from Starter to Pro, and then to Elite?

Accepted Answer

Starter to Pro is automatic — cross 10 lifetime sales and the next payout ships at the 12% rate. Pro to Elite is invitation-only; the curation team reviews every photographer with 100+ lifetime sales each quarter.

Question 5

What does “production handled” actually include?

Accepted Answer

Pigment-based printing on your choice of giclée cotton rag, archival paper, or museum canvas; flat-packed shipping between rigid backers in a glassine sleeve; certificate of authenticity; and global delivery via UPS / FedEx / DHL. You set the price and the edition — we run the production.

Question 6

When are payouts sent — and in what currency?

Accepted Answer

Payouts go out monthly through Stripe Connect to your linked bank account in your local currency. Stripe handles the conversion; you see the projected amount in your dashboard before the cycle closes.
